The horn of plenty is connected to the myth of little Jupiter's and to Echelon’s and Hercules' myth. It can be a goat’s or a bull’s horn, it’s filled up with every delight and every product of the earth and the man. The horn I s the symbol of the abundance and luck connected to Cerere and Tellus. Ripa makes it the typical feature of Luck, Hospitality and Europe. In Roman art and in Renaissance the horn has been the symbol of a big luck until the XIX century, where the cornucopia is frequently represented on funeral landmarks.
